My daughter hated piano, but we insisted that she should continue with lessons, after we learnt that she was bunking classes in primary school. When she went to High School Mrs SP, Take Note Music, tutored her and she immediately developed an amazing love to play the piano.

She now practices and sings, with passion, on a daily basis. She even plays the piano before going to her matric final exams now. Mrs SP has guided her and awakened an amazing love for the piano. Hannah loves her lessons and Mrs SP is very in tune with how to guide and lead Hannah, in order to enjoy and explore playing different genres of music.

After a tedious search to find the appropriate tutor, I started piano lessons with Chelsea in March of this year as an adult learner (with rudimentary piano knowledge from childhood). She was immediately on board with my vision to continue on with my grades through TCL and I have thoroughly enjoyed the music lessons and the rapid progress I have made with her in this short period.

Chelsea is incredibly accommodating and tailors the lessons according to the comfortability of the student. She is also a warm, vibrant personality (with the patience of a saint) and has an infectious enthusiasm for the instrument and the student's personal goals. I actually get a bit sad if I miss a lesson. I would highly recommend her to any budding musicians wanting to elevate their skillset :)

Chelsea (Take Note Music) has been my piano tutor for about a year now. I always had the desire to play the piano since I was a child but I never had the opportunity to do so back then. Chelsea is the most incredible music teacher I have ever had. She inspired me to try playing the flute at 24 years old, insisting I looked like I could play it! I didn’t believe her at first, but tried on a borrowed flute and under a year later, I was playing songs and duets and having an absolute blast - all while preparing for my grade 3 flute exam. She made lessons so enjoyable and chose interesting, fun music that always had me wanting to play and built my confidence up hugely. I couldn’t recommend this energetic, bubbly, passionate lady enough as a music teacher.
